DescriptionSlow-Set Gilding Size (oil-based) provides a long open time for gilding interior and exterior project. It will reach a gilding tack in ten to twelve hours and will remain open for gilding up to twelve hours. The label suggests a small amount of castor oil may be added to increase the open time for gilding. A project gilded with Slow-Set Size may be sealed with a clear coat seventy-two hours after gilding.
