Chinese Pewter Leaf comes in a variety of shades and textures. Here are some technical facts about the material to consider before placing your order:

1. The material varies from sheet to sheet, there is no consistency throughout each book.

2. The material varies from pack to pack, “shuffle the books” before applying, so you don’t get zones of one shade over another in a large area.

3. Pewter leaf does not need to be sealed. However, if it is sealed, it changes the shade, texture and color of the leaf.

4. There will be tears and patches on leaves from time to time.

5. Make large samples for your client. Your client needs to see that this material varies when applied to large areas.

6. Get approvals from your client. Make sure your client understands the unique qualities of this material and accepts it.

7. This is a special order item, allow for the time needed to fulfill a large order.
